Chantilly + South Riding
Newer housing, more space, and strong Dulles access, with a longer commute to the close-in core.
Chantilly and South Riding sit farther west than the close-in Northern Virginia markets, but they can offer newer housing, more space, and strong access to Dulles and Loudoun employment centers.
I use these area pages as a starting point, not a substitute for a real conversation. Two buyers with the same budget can make completely different choices depending on commute, lot size, walkability, schools, housing style, and how long they plan to stay.
See the trade-offs in context.
This video is from the last year and is part of my Living in Greater DC channel, where I cover Northern Virginia neighborhoods, relocation decisions, and housing trade-offs.
